New DuraLife Decking Product to Debut at 2023 NAHB International Builders’ Show

CLEVELAND, OH (January 31, 2023) — DuraLife Decking by Barrette Outdoor Living, Inc., a division of Oldcastle APG, announced plans to debut its new Resort CollectionTM of composite decking at the 2023 NAHB International Builders’ Show (IBS).

The contemporary Resort Collection will be offered at a mid-level price point between DuraLife Decking’s Hardwoods CollectionTM and Landscapes CollectionTM. The product line features three warm neutral colors (Aspen Teak, Acadia Gray and Cabo Brown) with subtle tone-on-tone linear grain variegation. Deck boards feature a square edge that allows the grain pattern to run close to the perimeter of the boards, creating a more cohesive appearance when installed.

An eco-friendly product, Resort Collection composite decking is composed of 78% recycled material and features a unique polypropylene and hardwood composite that outperforms other composite and PVC decking products.

“The Resort Collection nicely rounds out the DuraLife product portfolio, enabling our dealers to offer homeowners a sophisticated style at a great value,” said Matt Bruce, Vice President of BPD at Barrette Outdoor Living.

Compatible with DuraLife Decking’s patented Step-Clip® fastening system, deck boards can quickly and easily be installed by stepping them into place without the need for special tools. The Resort Collection also features CoolTracTM, a material composition that keeps deck boards significantly cooler than traditional composite decking and provides superior slip resistance.

DuraLife Decking will begin offering the Resort Collection to its network of dealers starting in February.
