BROOKSVILLE, FL (November 15, 2021) — Barrette Outdoor Living, Inc., the leading provider of outdoor living products, recently announced plans to open a 175,000 square foot PVC manufacturing plant dedicated to vinyl fencing and railing production in Brooksville, Florida.
Located along the Brooksville Tampa Bay Regional Airport (BKV) Rail Park — the plant will handle PVC compounding, in addition to vinyl extrusion, fabrication and product assembly. The new Brooksville plant will provide significant increased capacity of vinyl products, benefiting all company customers.
Expected to be completed by early 2023, the new location will bring 150 to 175 new jobs to Hernando County and will complement the company’s existing 300,000 square foot aluminum manufacturing and warehouse facilities located nearby.

In alignment with the company’s sustainability efforts, the new plant will have direct access to a CSX rail line — ensuring efficient delivery of raw materials from vendors and/or other Barrette Outdoor Living locations. The direct-to-plant rail delivery eliminates the need for additional transportation methods, helping to reduce the company’s carbon footprint. The company also has a goal to offer consumers more environmentally responsible choices by increasing the amount of products it makes using recycled materials and eco-friendly manufacturing processes.
The plans for the new Brooksville location come on the heels of Barrette Outdoor Living announcing two major industry acquisitions in October — National Vinyl Products based in Nephi, Utah and Dover, Delaware; and Madden Manufacturing based in Lake Ozark, Missouri.
